On a visit to Agricultural Commodities, better known as AgCom here in Adams County, Pennsylvania, I met with owner, Dan Sharrer, at his grain production facility in New Oxford where he produces flour and feed. As Republican chairman of the House Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee, I believe it is important to demonstrate the important role agriculture plays in feeding the world. I hope this video will be used in schools to teach children where their food comes from.

The House Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee, of which I am chairman, advanced six bills to help Pennsylvania’s struggling dairy farmers. Chief among them was House Bill 2397, which would put whole milk back on school lunch menu.
